Shed Hunting BIG Surprise !

Well I’ve been down at the BUS PROPERTY walking around looking for Sheds the past three Weekends. I usually find One or Two but this year I was getting Skunked, I walked the Hardwoods and the Creek Bottoms and walked for HOURS in the Pines. To say the Least I was getting VERY Frustrated but I keep up my Vigil, well I decided to change Out my Cards in my trail Cameras and sat down Saturday Evening to look at them. Well Imagine my Surprise when I Saw 4 different Bucks on Camera with full antlers, I Couldn’t believe it ! The GREAT thing about this was the fact that a lot of good Bucks Made it through the Year. After that Surprise I Spent Sunday Morning relaxing next to my Wood Stove and Watching Jeremiah Johnson, YOU Cook good Rabbit Pilgrim. Love that Movie See pictures Below

Great photos and a perfect explanation of why you haven’t found the sheds you were looking for. The greedy bucks are still holding on to their antlers. Hard to find dropped antlers when they’re still attached. Maybe you’ll find one later on in turkey season. Bag a big gobbler and find a nice shed on the way back to the bus. That would be quite a morning.
