ParticipantLast Seasons was a Strange year to say the Least, I was after a Special Deer that I had Seen but couldn’t get a Shot at the Previous year. I had meat left over from a Doe that I took the Season before so I passed on many small Bucks an my Buck Never Showed up. The lesson I guess is don’t put all your faith in Harvesting One Animal, it was still a GREAT Hunting Season and I had a good time spending hours enjoying the Magic of the Outdoors. Hopefully next Season will be more Productive!

ModeratorI can Definitely relate, a few years ago I let a really good 9pt walk on a small tract of land in a Suburb of Atlanta. A few weeks later the Deer was hit by a Car, I was waiting on a BIGGER Buck that Never Showed up. Maybe Next Year your Deer will come Walking by. Any Deer Season is a good Season.
