ModeratorWell I took Off early Friday to get down to the Bus and check my Trail Cameras, I was also Scouting for a Saturday Morning Turkey Hunt. I got in the Woods about 7:45 and it was a BEAUTIFUL Morning. I said a little Prayer and Thanked God for the day and ask him to send me a Turkey, just so happened about 9:00 I had Three Jakes come in Silent. Guess I should have been more Specific on the Gobbler but it was GREAT just seeing some Birds. Well I decided to go Eat Some BBQ for lunch and it was GREAT as always, when I got Back I did some cleanup around Camp and cut the Grass. After that I went to check my pond which was almost Dry not much Rain Lately, but saw Turkey tracks at the edge. So I started back to the Bus and I was looking around for One Last Shed and I found a GREAT One. What a GREAT DAY IN THE WOODS. Also saw a Big Black Snake that was the longest I’ve ever seen!

ParticipantSounds like an adventurous weekend at the hancock Hilton. Glad that snake wasn’t a copperhead…!

ParticipantWhat a weekend!! That big black snake is almost certainly an indigo snake, a rare sight in the woods and a top snakey predator. You’ve got to tell us when you find the mate to that big shed. Better yet, hope to see a trail c shot of that big boy in the fall.
