ParticipantIt’s that time again. Christmas. While I was preparing my monthly message for Stirling Heights I noted there were sixty-five special days in the month of December. For me, there is really only one day. That’s Christmas Day – one day in the year of my life I have specific hope and joy in spite of our increasingly artificial and violent world. When the pain of life is suspended momentarily when I think of the Saviour and the love he has for me and others. I’m encouraged to plod on in the full assurance that everything is going to be just fine in the end. That somehow, in this life, things will get better and all my doubt and questioning will come to an end when I see the Master face to face.
Happy Christmas Everyone! It is our day to celebrate. Don’t let the retailers and secular society rob us of the hope we have in Christ Jesus.
