Just a bit of news for those interested in vintage wood and canvas canoes. Our friend, Joe, at Chattahoochee Antiques in Tucker has just picked up a really nice and easily restorable classic wood and canvas canoe. Trim will need replacement as will keel and some repairs required at places on the gunwale and the foreseat but these look to be minor. The hull itself is in amazingly good condition. One or two small, old repairs to the skin but the ribs and cedar “planking” show no discovered damage. You don’t find one like this every day. If interested get in touch with Joe at 678-205-5203
