Harvest Record required this year

Georgia DNR requires each turkey hunter to obtain a free harvest record beginning this year. That includes landowners hunting their own property, too. Check the DNR website for details if you have not already obtained your harvest record. Hope this will provide helpful management information and not just be another hoop for hunters to jump through. Sounds like, from the notification, that this requirement was added after issue of 2015-2016 licenses. Adding mine today to my “old codger” lifetime lisc. Good hunting, ya’ll.

Got my turkey harvest record. It is attached to the deer harvest record which is available for renewal. No big deal. Just requires updating harvest records earlier than you might do for deer. It is free.
