ParticipantWell, many of you know, I hunt with my Dad at his place back in GA and stay in the old school bus. I have my place out in Texas and have been looking for a travel trailer or to build a cabin to put out on the property to stay in. Over the last couple of weeks, I found a prospect that we decided to move forward with. It is a 1990 GMC school bus and the seller was using it at Texas Motor Speedway to watch the races on the platform on top. Has a 454 and runs well. All the seats had been stripped out and they were staying on cots and mattresses. Already has a fridge/freezer, AC unit, and electric heater. We got it about a week ago and have been working on it to get it ready to take to the property. So far we have painted the ceiling and started the sub floor. Will post more pictures as we progress, but extremely excited with the possibilities and looking forward to making it our own and having a comfortable place to stay at the property.

Bravo
ParticipantThat’s really COOL ! A lot more cost effective than building a Cabin and you could take it Down the Road.
