ModeratorDon’t know about everyone else But I’ve Spent many hours walking around my land looking at the Beautiful Woods and Trees and Special places, I always enjoy thinking about my Ancestors and what kind of lives they had. Unfortunately I was adopted and know nothing about my ancestry except the Search from Ancestry.com which I think is little more than a guess. I love the Outdoors and all that it involves, I’m very Comfortable Sitting in a deer stand or just Walking around my hunting property which I Cherish Greatly I’ve always thought that I was part Indian but probably Not its Simply a Dream. The Point is that this Wonderful Earth that we are Blessed to walk through and over is I believe One of the GREATEST Gifts from GOD, who else feels this way as I do with every fiber of my Body. I recently Spent some Time with my Oldest Son on his property that he Bought a couple of years ago and I saw the same appreciation in his heart, this was very Special to me and I’m so proud that he feels like I do about being a Stewart of the Land.

ParticipantLove this Topic, I also love just Spending time in the Woods or the Mountains Lakes or even the back water creek. Just the Quite Time and getting away from the everyday life is very Special, it kind of makes me realize how Important these places are to have and hold onto and knowing that the good Lord has Blessed us all.

ParticipantI know that my family was out of Oklahoma but not much more than that, I agree that we need to take care of the Land we love and appreciate and also Pass this Down to the Young people who are growing up now. We are definitely Blessed to have Our Favorite places that will make memories that last a Lifetime.

ParticipantIt was a great weekend in the woods. We got quite a rush for a few seconds seeing that giant turkey, I mean crow sneak up on us Saturday morning. I tell you what, when the sun came rising through the trees, it was sight to see. Enjoyed learning about the different leave types for the different oaks on the property, pretty neat to observe the fine details and I know it will be beneficial for scouting trails and future stand placements. We may not have seen a turkey but made up for it with the fishing. Good Food, good conversation, and great memories. Hurry back for deer season 2019.
