Been a while since I was last on. Hunting season gets busy for sure. I was able to fill my tag on this goofy horned bull here in Washington State.

Hiked up to the top of the ridge and heard a couple cow calls. I stopped and tried to pinpoint exactly where they came from and at that moment I heard him coming out of the timber and into the clear cut. He came out of the treeline maybe 10 yards and stayed close to it while moving towards my direction but the brush is so tall I had to wait for him to come my way.

He got behind some alders and that gave me a min to climb up onto a stump and nock an arrow and rangefind the opening in the cut which was 74 yards.

As soon as he hit that opening I cow called and stopped him dead in his tracks and my arrow double lunged him at 68 yards. Down in secs and another punched tag. Cant wipe this smile off my face.
