Well back in 2013 my Wife an I had gone up to the North Georgia Mountains for our Anniversary. We always go to our Cabin between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, that day we had been to the town of Blue Ridge for shopping. Afterwards we went to Amicalola Falls an walked to the top, then out to Eat at the River Restaurant. Then back to the Cabin we went, and I had a little time to get in the Woods. So I go out an get in my stand just behind the Cabin. It wasn’t very long before I looked up an saw a deer walking my way, it was a small buck then another deer and another then I looked down the hill an saw a Good Buck he was the Biggest one in the group. The next 30 minutes I was Praying an talking to that deer trying to get him to come up close enough to get a shot. Well he finally gets close enough for me to draw an he walked into my shooting lane. I take the shot an it’s good, he ran off an a six pt runs up an stands right where the deer I just shot. I looked up an said Praise God. I had to run the six pt off so I could get down. Found my arrow it had good blood, so I went an got my flash light long story short I found my deer 40 Yards away. I just thought what a GREAT day in the woods ! My Wife was watching Baseball Playoffs while I was hunting! That Deer is now in my Cabin in Ellijay. A GREAT Anniversary Buck.
