ParticipantRecently got hold of an Ithaca/SKB 20 ga auto. I wanted something light for chasing grouse in the mountains and dove wherever and this model 300 certainly fills the bill at only six pounds. As a plus it, with a simple adjustment, will handle 3″ shells. By no means new, it functions great with standard loads and with 3″ magnum shells as well. Have to admit – after testing with a Remington magnum turkey load – I hope I don’t miss with the first shot because I’d hate to endure the recoil back to back. Just gotta get out there and burn powder.
